Helsinki Shipyard excursion 5.12.2024

Helsinki Shipyard invites LRK members to the traditional excursion! Helsinki Shipyard, now Canadian-owned, specializes in icebreakers and passenger ships and has been operating at its current location for over 150 years.

The excursion will include a tour around the shipyard, short presentations and summer job opportunities, followed by an informal evening with food, drinks, and a sauna. The event starts at 5 PM, so please arrive at the shipyard’s main gate (Laivakatu 1) by then. If you have an exam that evening but still wish to participate later, please contact Janika (telegram: @janikametsola, janika.metsola@helsinkishipyard.fi)

There are 40 spots available for students on the excursion.

 Registration opens 19.11. at 16 o’clock.
